BOY'S C3 FIRE Volleyball
Winter '08 TEAMS

Our goal is to create opportunities for boys to learn the game of competitive volleyball while playing with and against other boys. This winter we will be offering our "Firestorm" local Middle School Boys League with a travel option.  The Firestorm league participants will not be required to be registered with KRVA as it is not a KRVA affiliated program. The Firestorm league will meet once per week for 2 hrs. There will be a separate practice time specifically for those boys interested in playing on our 14U travel team.  Participation in the travel team practices and competitions will require a KRVA membership.  At this time we will be unable to field a 16U boys travel team.  IF you have a boy who will turn 15 before Sept. 1, 2008 we are permitted a limited number of age waivers for our travel team.

Tournament teams will compete in tournaments offered by the Keystone Region of USAV as well as other surrounding regions. Final tournament team structure and age/competition levels will be determined by the combination of age/skill levels of boys in the club who are interested in participating in tournaments. Depending upon total registrations and available coaches we may have multiple teams at one or more age level. Younger age groups will continue to be offered  on a local co-ed basis.  Boy's Volleyball Club teams and members shall be registered with KRVA.  

Practices

Travel team practices will be on Tuesday and Friday from
Tues. Nov 27 thru Friday Jan 4. 
(No practices during the week of Christmas thru New Years Day)

Beginning Jan. 8
The Boy's Firestorm League will practice and play on Tuesday Nights with the 14U team practicing on Friday nights.  The 14U team season will end with KRVA Regionals (provided we have enough qualifying boys to compete at Regionals.) The Firestorm league will 9 weeks until Spring Break.

C3 Fire Girls Club Travel Teams
14U, 13U, 12U and Middle School Developmental

C3 Fire teams are individual teams that are formed to participate in local or regional leagues
as well as local, regional and statewide tournaments.  The skill and experience level of these teams will vary from developmental/intermediate level to advanced highly competitive teams.  C3 Fire teams are generally more suited for kids who are more highly competitive and seeking a higher level of competition and commitment than our local leagues.  Most of these teams,
by their nature will have restricted roster numbers which may make it necessary for kids to tryout.  Athletes who try out and do not make a C3 Fire roster are invited to participate in our winter local leagues which are open to participation by all regardless of experience.  Local leagues are a great opportunity to develop skills, have fun and learn the game. 

We would also like to eventually develop teams that will be nationally and internationally 
competitive. All of these higher level will require tryouts and making cuts etc. Not every kid
who wants to play will be able to participate on these teams. There will be a progressively higher level or commitment, skill and experience required for these types of teams.
